Usually referred to simply as REO, it is  a consultancy firm offering expert services to investors worldwide, born of the need to accompany potential investors as they navigate the meanders of complex legislations  and regulations  surrounding the al important issue of investments in different countries.

It is the concrete expression of the passion of the founder and CEO in her quest to bridge the gap between those who have the capital and finances and those who need these invested in profitable ventures and projects.

It is the demonstration of a new and better way of promoting, facilitating investment initiatives through advisory services, negotiation, inter-mediation and the collection, analysis and rendering accessible to clients the economic information that permits them make investment  decisions.

When our clients contact us, we respond immediately, urging them to contact us for a working session. This could be a meeting online, or with physically present persons. We hold a first discussion to determine whether or not we can work together. Once we are convinced that is possible, an agreement is drawn up and signed by both parties.

It is common knowledge that some investors prefer working with nonprofessionals who promise making things happen but who never deliver the expected results. These ask for compensations in different forms, including unconventional methods of obtaining meetings with the competent officials and decisions makers.

We assist them in developing the professionally accepted project document and sourcing for financing, examining the obstacles, providing appropriate proposals for solutions, accompanying them in the implementation of these recommendations.

  • Venture capitalists who are seeking for profitable ventures to invest in

We work with them to match projects to their specific domain of interest that need funding through negotiations and intermediation. We also suggest possible profitable ventures in other countries for their scrutiny, negotiate the agreements, accompany them to get installed in that country.

  • Investors who are having a hard time succeeding in setting up their investments in a country. This could be due among other reasons to aspects relating to lack of sufficient knowledge about effectively doing business in that country, bureaucratic bottle necks, local resistance etc. With over 30 years of working experience at different levels of government activity, I have the mastery of administrative procedures and how these can work. I will put this together with other qualities and experience at the disposal of the client, Investment advisory services.

As a prospective client, you are encouraged to contact us/come in for that preliminary   exploratory consultation. We will LISTEN TO YOU VERY CAREFULLY and discuss your investment objectives and give you our professional advice about its feasibility or not. We could also give you more information about how this could be done as well as present other investment opportunities that exist in your area of interest and/or elsewhere. This could take as long as the client wishes so his satisfaction is established.  In the event the client decides to use our services, he fills about a one page form in which he states the services he desires, his expected results, timelines for deliverable. On the basis of this information, an agreement is negotiated and drawn up, including fees and payment options. Once this is signed, we are in business and you can already star waiting for the results. It is the start of a wonderful journey into your investment future, working with the professionals.

We have explained how we work, who we would like to work with, our areas of competence, the services we provide. To this information we inform you that we are undertaking exploratory missions to other African countries like the one we undertook to Sierra Leone in March/April 2017. We made considerable inroads  into the fabric of the society and a planning another trip there,  because of the discovery we made that  the ‘sleeping lion’ is getting ready to roar again and be make its presence felt in that sub region, we made. This country, like many others has enormous investment opportunities just waiting to be exploited and these are not well known to the world. This year, we intend to also go the Liberia to source for more investment opportunities, package these and propose to our serious clients.  We can do this, bringing in our other fields of experience, mastery and professionalism to bear for the success of your investment venture in any African country you wish to invest in.

REO takes pride in our ability to understand and address the investment needs of our clients thereby shortening the gap between investors and their potential investment destinations of choice in Africa. We specialize in agribusiness, renewable energies, mining, transport and road infrastructure, railway, forestry, hydroelectricity, real estate and trade.

Having said that, we believe that the value we bring to the table is not industry expertise — which you already possess in abundance — but rather an understanding of what investors like to see in a potential opportunity.

A consultant id an expert in a particular area of activity that comes with the normal constraints they are expected to have better insights into and so more realistic and realizable approached to solutions that ensure eventual success. Consultants who have these required qualities will bring added value to your investment orientations as they are in a position to better understand the realities of the continent as they live it and can assist you in better understanding these as you make your business decisions.

The fees are determined predominantly, but not exclusively by:

  • The nature and scope of the project, in terms of the tasks and investment areas you require REO’s assistance
  • The sophistication and specific needs of your target investment destination.
  • The clarity of your investment or business vision.
  • Your availability and willingness to participate in preliminary planning meetings
  • The complexity of your industry and business model.
  • The availability of industry information.
  • The desired timing relative to our workload. In general, “rush” jobs will carry a substantial premium over projects that can be completed as our schedule permits.

In general, while we hinge these on the range of fees charged by colleagues in other parts of the world, we also make it our duty to assure our clients that these are negotiable, and we lay greater emphasis on producing expected results and guaranteeing client satisfaction.

Our headquarters are located in Yaoundé Cameroon, with an office downtown. We are IT savvy and are comfortable with using the phone and its applications like whatsapp, e-mail and online meeting tools. If desired, we are available to travel out and meet   with you and your team.

From an academic standpoint, I hold a Law degree from the University of Yaoundé, a graduate certification in finance management with emphasis on Taxation from Cameroon’s National School of Administration and Magistracy,( ENAM), a MA in Government from UT Austin Texas, USA,   certification  from the International Institute of Public Administration in Paris France in the area of taxation, and another from  Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the domain  performance for Results based performance. From a profession viewpoint, I have gathered more than 30 years of work with the Cameroon government in different senior positions, 10 years of which were spent as Technical Adviser to the Ministers of Finance and that of Economy, Planning and Regional Development.

From my CV, which underscores both academic and professional achievements, the professionalism and expertise which are REO’s hallmark are easy to confirm.  My experience with bringing together project owners and funding bodies has been gathered as I organized,  for the Government of Cameroon, International  investments events across the world in collaboration with renowned firms  noteworthy of which I would like to mention the following;

  • The Cameroon star country event at the 2013 India Africa business forum organized with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII);
  • The UK – Cameroon business forum 2010 with the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC)
  • The UK – Cameroon business form organized with Developing Markets Associates ( DMA) in 2014;
  • The Cameroon investment Forum in July 2014 on the margins of the US Africa Summit that held in Washington DC in collaboration with the Corporate Council for Africa (CCA).
